33/365 Happy Groundhog Day
So what happens if the daffodils see their shadows in the snow? Six more weeks of alternating days of spring and winter?

August Breaking Point --Saying No
First off I'd like to say thank you to all the bloggers participating in the August Break that have stopped by and said "Hi" here on my little piece of the internet. My hope is that some day I'll have some free time to stop by and check out your web homes too.
As I predicted in a previous post, my last three weeks are have been non-stop, and in reality I don't see much changing for a little while. I've been trying to roll with things, but I can tell stress has gotten to me to a certain degree. Sometimes you just reach a point where you have to say "no," even to the things you enjoy...really enjoy.
Last night normally is a yoga night for me, but instead I said no. Instead I opted to stay home and spend some of the time in the garden, ridding it of some of the weeds that are cluttering the space and stealing the soil nutrients from my veggie plants. I've always found weeding cathartic. ;) It felt ten times more benefiical to my well being to take care of this little plot of ground and harvest some of its' goodness than doing a few asanas.
I will nourish the garden which nourishes me.... figuratively and literally.

Spring bokeh
Last night I had a photo play session in my back yard. My little tree with its pink blossoms always encourages practice shooting wide open. I love the bokeh in this one. Happy Spring (even if it is early.)

catching up 12/52
Yeah I know it looks like I'm going backwards, but not really, I'm just playing catch up on my Project 52. That's the great thing about making up your own rules, you can change them when ever you want. ☺
I took this SUNday, when I noticed my first tulip of the season in bloom.

11/52- Oh happy day
I'm always look forward to the first signs that the garden is coming back to life. Yesterday I spotted these guys poking out of the ground. Pretty soon I'll be feasting again on home grown vegetables. I can't wait!!!!
